Your Privacy Choices

In the iPhone app, open Settings, find Account, and choose Delete Account. Confirm the action to initiate deletion of the account and associated HoroJob data, including anonymous guest accounts.

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately through your Apple Account before or after deletion.

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with Sign in with Apple. We may request reasonable verification before deleting account-linked data.

In the iPhone app, open Settings, choose Account, then use Privacy & Data. AI-assisted personalization and optional product analytics are separate choices; neither is enabled until you allow it.

Turning AI-assisted personalization off blocks new OpenAI processing and activation of results whose consent was withdrawn; a request already sent cannot be retracted. Fresh CV extraction, analyses and rewrites, Blueprint strategy creation or update proposals, Career Insights, and screenshot extraction explain the blocked operation. CV processing also requires its separate processing and storage notice.

Supported URL vacancy checks, HoroJob's self-hosted chart and transit calculations, public market facts, Career Radar, saved results, owned Blueprint modes and journal, and saved CV corrections, export, and deletion remain available without a new OpenAI request. Turning AI off does not delete your saved CV workspace or strategy.

Turning AI off also clears Career Lens CV comparisons and pauses automatic opening reviews. Saving a CV-builder draft makes no AI request.

Turning optional product analytics off immediately disables future account-linked PostHog capture on the device and backend. Existing generated results and analytics are not erased merely by changing a choice; use account deletion or a verified privacy request for deletion.

Before submitting a CV, review its separate notice. The original PDF, DOCX, or full raw input is discarded after bounded extraction, but a private normalized professional copy, confirmed facts, findings, accepted edits, and bounded versions stay saved until you delete the CV workspace or account. Unconfirmed copies also stay saved. Automatic contact cleanup is limited, not anonymization; remove unnecessary personal or sensitive details before submitting.

A CV is optional for Blueprint. Choose a confirmed CV revision explicitly when requesting a strategy or update proposal. Opening Blueprint from a CV does not update it; a proposed strategy change requires your explicit acceptance.

In Blueprint, Stop using current CV removes that CV's private contribution while retaining the standalone CV workspace. In CV workspace, Delete this CV workspace removes the saved document and findings and invalidates dependent private Blueprint content. Independent journal notes remain; use account deletion to remove the whole account. These controls do not need Premium or new AI processing.

After Premium expires, you can still open saved CV results, correct professional text, export it, and delete the workspace. New paid analyses and rewrites remain subject to the access and allowance shown in the app.

Export contacts are optional and used only for the current export session. PDF export sends them to HoroJob's renderer, not an AI model; they are not saved in the workspace. The clean export does not replace the original file, and copies shared with other apps cannot be removed by deleting your CV in HoroJob.

Calendar, Photos, and Notifications permissions can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. HoroJob Settings also lets you disable alerts and remove HoroJob-created calendar events where supported.

Declining an optional permission does not block unrelated product features. A feature that needs the permission may offer manual input or remain unavailable until permission is granted.

You can update many profile and preference fields directly in the app. Email privacy@horojoblab.com to request access, a portable export, correction of data you cannot edit, restriction, or an objection to processing.

Tell us the request type and provide the email or Apple relay email associated with your account. Do not send your Apple password, full identity token, payment-card details, or unnecessary birth information.

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests promptly and complete verified requests within the period required by applicable law, normally within one month for GDPR requests.

HoroJob does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-app behavioral advertising, so there is no advertising-sale opt-out required for the current product.

You may complain to your local data-protection authority. We would also appreciate the opportunity to investigate first, especially if you believe a request was handled incorrectly.
